February 20-23, 2025 | Whistler Mountain
The U16 Teck Open 2 in Whistler did not go as we all expected. Due to weather conditions, we had to adjust our plans. The original schedule included two days of Super G training followed by two days of Super G races. However, given the snow conditions, it was decided to hold only one day of speed training and three SL races instead.

Despite the rain, challenging snow conditions, and last-minute changes, our athletes managed to maintain a calm mindset, showing improvement each day. Aaron Na achieved a top 10 finish in one of his runs, demonstrating the team’s resilience and adaptability.
On the final day, conditions were perfect hard-ice on the course and clear skies. It was the best day of the event. Many of our athletes, who often struggled with frustration from falls and not finishing races, successfully crossed the finish line with excellent results. This progress is highly beneficial for our continued development moving forward.
