The U16 Teck Parsons Open Series from Feb 6th to 9th was the first speed event of the season. The downhill races were cancelled due to poor conditions but the organizers and volunteers managed 2 Super-G races each for boys and girls. Cypress Ski Club’s Peter Konigsmann finished 4th on Feb 8th and 6th on Feb 9th. Olin Wakkary finished 12th and received Most-Improved award since he moved up from bib #40 and once again won Most-Improved on Feb 9th finishing 17th having moved up from bib #40 again!
