Are you ready to join Cypress Ski Club for the 2026/2027 season? We’re excited to welcome new members to our community and encourage all interested families to follow the steps outlined below. It is important to know that our club DOES NOT TEACH BEGINNERS.
We do not provide lift tickets required to go on the hill for the try-outs.

Submit Your Application
Complete your formal application by filling out the survey by March 11th, 2026
Attend an Information Session & Trial Day (On-Snow Assessment)
Information Session: Learn more about our club, meet the Program Director, the Head Coaches for U8 and U10, and our President. (30 minutes)
Trial Day: Your child will attend an on-snow session to assess their skills. (2 hours)
Is My U8/U10 Ready for Cypress Ski Club?
To determine if your child is ready for the U8/U10 program, please ensure you can confidently check each of the following:
☐ Is your child a strong skier for their age?
☐ Can they link short-radius turns continuously down a run at a consistent, moderate speed without stopping?
☐ Are they comfortable skiing on blue runs? For the assessment, they will be expected to ski the Horizon run.
☐ Has your child participated in an introductory, structured ski program and regularly skis with parents to improve?
Program Availability
We currently have vacancies in our U8 and U10 programs for the 2026/2027 season. Age groups are as follows:
- U8: Born in 2019
- U10: Born in 2017 or 2018
Information Sessions & Trial Days
We will host two Information Sessions, each followed by an on-snow assessment:
- Saturday, March 14th: Information session followed by on-snow trial
- Sunday, March 22nd: Information session followed by on-snow trial
