Whistler Speed Camp went really well for our U16 athletes, despite the challenging weather conditions. Coach Edison and Raul were proud of the athletes who showed they were up to the challenge. They even helped with track preparation as staff to ensure the conditions were excellent.
Gaining speed course experience like this is invaluable. Exploring speed with a longer and stiffer ski is excellent for incorporating new sensations, improving technique, and continuing the progression in this beautiful sport. Throughout the training days, each athlete made significant improvements. Now, they are more than ready to take on a new discipline like Super G.
