Ready to join the Cypress Ski Club for the 2025-2026 season?
WWe’re excited to welcome new members to our community and we encourage all interested families to apply online and book a trial date.
How to Apply:
1. Submit Your Application by Wednesday, March 26.
We currently have vacancies in our U8 and U10 programs for the 2025-2026 season. These age groups are as follows:
- U8: Born in 2018
- U10: Born in 2016 or 2017
2. Choose your trial date on the form.
Information Session & Trial Day
The mandatory on-snow assessment ensures the best fit for both your child and the club. This includes:
- Information session at 2:30pm: Learn more about our club, the sport of ski racing, meet the Program Director, Head Coaches for U8 and U10, and a member of our Board. (30 min)
- On-snow Trail at 3:00pm: Your child will attend a trial on-snow session to assess their skiing abilities. (2 hours)
2025/2026 Trial Dates:
- Saturday, March 29
- Saturday, April 5

Is My U8/U10 Ready for Cypress Ski Club?
To ensure a great experience in the U8/U10 program, please ensure you can confidently answer yes to each of the following questions for your child:
☐ Is your child a strong skier for their age?
☐ Can they link short radius turns continuously down a run at a consistent, moderate speed, without stopping?
☐ Are they comfortable skiing down blue runs? For the assessment, they will be expected to ski down the Horizon run.
☐ Has your child participated in an introductory, structured ski program and regularly skis with family to improve?

Cypress Ski Club thrives on community spirit and as a volunteer-driven organization, we seek families who share the following qualities:
- A passion for skiing and ski racing.
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to engage with the club and support it.
- A commitment to volunteer for at least 2 days per year.
- A desire to embrace our ski racing values and a positive team environment.
