KSTAR is an advanced Nancy Greene Ski League program and prepares the children for the next step towards racing! Gate drills, mogul skiing, powder skiing, steep tree skiing and gate courses all help to prepare the athletes. This program meets the specified number of training days in the season for this age level by Alpine Canada's AIM2WIN guidelines. The focus of this program is to consolidate and refine basic technique through key training opportunities. Mileage is important at this stage to help increase technical ability for racing and provides a great skill set for all-mountain skiing. This program is for kids who like to rip it up all weekend. Whether they aspire to become a competitive racer or a great all-mountain skier, KSTAR is for them.

The Nancy Greene Ski League is a nation wide program. This program has several stages as your child progresses and follows the Husky Snow Stars manual which provides goals and certificates to award achievements and track progress. Every child may not aspire to become a ski racer; however the NGSL is one of the best ways to learn to ski well with peers and a qualified coach, and is a fun and fast way for kids to progress into technically good skiers. Races are optional throughout the season; however races are a great way to develop friendships in a fun environment while demonstrating new skills.
