This is a two day program, designed for those that want to develop their skills in an all-inclusive mountain experience. Groups are formed based on age and skill level. This program gives the opportunity to learn more about skiing and the mountain by skiing all terrain in varied snow conditions. It is geared towards those that do not want to race, but want to learn to ski better and to understand the mountain. Skiing will enable to pursue opportunities like ski instructing and mountaineering.

Program Info
  • Runs every Sunday and Thursday evenings.
  • Training time is from 9AM to 3:00 PM during weekends, and 5:30 to 8 PM during weekdays.
  • Starts January 3, 2016
  • Optional Christmas and Spring Break Camp
Summer and Fall Dryland Training
  • While the on-hill season begins when snow falls, the dryland training season begins in June! Our optional summer and fall dryland sessions help prepare athletes for the season. Fees apply.
  • Typically sessions are a weeknight and weekend from June through July. Fall sessions begin again in September through November.
Duration
  • Starts Jan 3, 2016. Ends second weekend of April dependent on snow conditions.
Extras
  • There may be opportunities throughout the season to ski some terrain at Whistler or other nearby mountains. The Coach will inform you of these at the start of the season.

Additional Fees
  • Each athlete must pay BC Alpine insurance.  The BC Alpine insurance is paid at the time of Family Membership registration and is added onto the amount
  • All families must also have a Family Membership
  • Season passes and lift passes are not included. Members are eligible for club discounts for season passes.
